Terms of Service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tiny-Puter service (the "Service"): your own Linux container, your own tunnel to reach and publish from it, zero exposure of your home network — your container, your tunnel, zero exposure. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

You get one container with the specs of the plan you purchase, a key door through which you connect with your own key, and internet access that leaves through our protected gateway — never your home network. You are responsible for everything you run inside your container, including your own Cloudflare tunnel (the free cloudflared tool) and any website or service you expose through it.

2. Acceptable Use & Abuse — please read carefully

⚠️ We operate a small, private infrastructure. Abuse can take the whole service (and everyone's containers) down, so we take it seriously and enforce these rules.

You may not use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited email (spam). Outbound SMTP (port 25) is blocked at the network level.
  • Launch denial-of-service (DDoS) or amplification attacks, or participate in botnets.
  • Scan, probe, or attack other people's networks or machines (including other customers' containers).
  • Host, distribute, or facilitate illegal content or activity, including malware, phishing, fraud, or CSAM.
  • Attempt to access the host, the admin panel, other customers' data, or any internal infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublet the container or the account.

Consequences. Violations may result in immediate suspension of your container and account (a ban), deletion of your container, and — for serious or repeated violations — a permanent ban and refusal of service. Where required by law or where we believe abuse is ongoing and severe, we may report incidents to your upstream provider or to law enforcement, and we may share the limited information we hold (account email, IP address, timestamps) with them. We log provisioning and admin actions, and abuse reports are reviewed manually.

We rely on abuse reports from the public and from other providers. To report abuse involving one of our containers, use the support form or email the abuse address on the contact page. Include the date/time, the IP address involved, and logs if you have them — it makes triage much faster.

3. Accounts & SSH keys

You keep your own SSH key — we never store passwords for your container. Your key is saved on your account and injected into your container at provisioning time. Keys belong to the account and persist across container deletions; rotate or remove them from the dashboard at any time. Never share your key or account.

4. Billing & payments

Plans are billed through Stripe (card) or, where offered, manual payment methods reviewed by us. You pay in advance for the chosen period. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the billing portal and keep the container until the end of the paid period. See the refund policy for details.

5. Grace periods, suspension & termination

If a payment fails, we warn you, suspend the container, and — after a grace period — destroy it. Nothing is deleted instantly. We may also suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, for abuse, or if the Service is discontinued. You may delete your container at any time from the dashboard.

6. Data & privacy

We collect the minimum needed to run the Service: account details, payment references (processed by Stripe), and limited technical data (IP address, country, browser type) for security and abuse handling. See our privacy policy and, if you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR notice. Your container's data is deleted when the container is destroyed; back up anything that matters.

7. Service levels & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We operate on a single host and may occasionally need downtime for maintenance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost profits. You are responsible for backing up your own container.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where practical, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
